Exorcism scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark

It can be terrifying to see an exorcism scene in a film. This is especially true if you are not familiar with the practice. It can be stressful and one that many people have been through. Most people aren't thinking about having an exorcism, regardless of the fear. If you're curious, however you can check out how Raiders of the Lost Ark performed an exorcism.

The Roman Catholic Church was opposed to exorcisms, a long-standing ritual. The Roman Catholics believed that such a ritual was an arcane rite that should not be made into a film. According to some accounts, the church banned horror milking films about exorcisms in order to protect their religion.

"The Exorcist" was the first movie to make demonic possession a popular concept. But it wasn't exactly a great film.

A film about an exorcism could appear to be a lot of hooey but The Exorcist actually had some intriguing subtexts and ideas. It also has sleazy violence and obnoxious jump scares.

Yo-Jin-Bo

Whether you're into anime or not, anime Yo-Jin-Bo is one of the few official visual novels available on the Windows store. It's easy to see the reason. The story's fantasy setting is a nod towards feudal Japan and the characters are cute and cuddly, though a little bit suspicious. It's also got a tad hint of geekiness to add some spice.

As far as Yo-Jin Bo is concerned, there's a triumvirate of main characters to keep you interested, the aforementioned Yo, the oh so adorable Jin and Anime the petty psychopath Ittosai. The storyline is a fantasy set in the feudal period of Japan where a princess and her guardians are in the midst of a fugitive hunt. The ruffian mentioned earlier has a secret document hidden in a scrapped car that may have something to do with the princess's location.

The storyline also connects to the main characters their love lives. Contrary to most visual novels the characters are interconnected, and that's a great thing. In reality it's only when the characters are adrift from one another that the plot is put on the back burner.

Yu Yu Hakusho

YYH is a great anime with great characters fighting, villains, and other characters. It is an older anime however, it has great animation and great characters. It first aired on Cartoon Network and Adult Swim. The anime has a few episodes on the DVD.

Kuwabara is among the most fragile members of the group. His sword is strengthened through a sword hilt. He is an important character in the story. He faked his death to unleash the power of Yusuke.

The anime has some great fight scenes, as well as some fantastic villains. It's also a peaceful drama that focuses on character evolution. It has good animation and is definitely worth watching. The Japanese version of Sacred Energy has a similar storyline as YYH.

The anime series is a reimagining of the manga Cerebus Syndrome, but the anime is a little bit different. It skips certain comedy stories from the manga and is more focused on character development. It also cuts out some action.

The Perils of Pauline (1914)

The first serial was a 20-episode affair. The Perils of Pauline is one of the most loved silent films of all time. Pearl White plays the role of the heroine, who is constantly in danger. She is forced to defend herself from a vile "guardian" of her inheritance, who plans to murder her on a regular basis.

Harry Marvin (Crane Wilbur) is the son of an affluent man. He would like to marry Pauline, but she wants independence. Both are horrified at Pauline's decision. They devise a sloppy murder plot. Harry is an manipulative jerk, and does not want Pauline dead. He treats her like a wayward child. He is just as ignorant as James Bond.

The Perils of Pauline was directed by Louis J. Gasnier. It was also recut for an a release of 28mm in France. It was picked for the National Film Registry. Universal Studios rereleased the movie in 1967 as an updated comedy. Paramount Pictures also reissued the film in 1947 as a Betty Hutton vehicle.

The story of the film revolves around Pauline's uncle's death and leaves Pauline with a million dollars. She plans to go on adventures over the next year before she gets married. A sly "guardian" who is a part of Pauline's heirloom, plans to kill her. He hires a henchman named Hicks to help him. Hicks' deeds are exposed by a side character.

Once Upon a Time

'Once Upon a Time’ reimagined fairy tales. It introduced new characters, plot lines and Trimmed also new characters. However, as the show progressed into the later seasons, the material became less interesting.

"Into the Deep" is a decent episode, but it's not the most impressive example of the promise that Season 2 has made. The main plot is good. But Emma's personality is a bit self-centered to be believable. Is she the only one who has light magic?

I'm sure Emma is delighted to be free of Hook, but I don't believe she will ever overcome her attraction to him. She would like to escape to New York, but she's terrified of love and happiness. She is convinced that Killian left her because of her fear. Is it worth taking the risk?

It is revealed Emma's family was hiding things from her. When she arrives home, she discovers the magical canonizing cuff that keeps people from being magically cursed has been handed to her by someone. But she also finds a knife hidden within.

While the episode is impressive, I don't think the novelty is worth it. If you're only interested in the famous fabled 'Hat trick' then this isn't for you.
